Going to the gym can be pretty daunting. Especially if you’ve never been before – it can be somewhere that you’re unsure of how to act, or dress, or what sort of equipment and things you might want to bring or utilise. Personally, I absolutely love the gym. Scott and I have been going consistently 3/4 times a week for the past 2 years, and it’s so grounded in my daily routine that I don’t really know what I’d do without it!
When I’m working out, it gives me time to clear my head completely. I can put all of my energy/frustrations into whatever I’m doing and just let go of whatever has happened that day in my life.
One thing I also love about the gym: the accessories. From gym clothes to workout gear and even pretty heavy-investment pieces like an Apple watch to measure metrics and help quantify what I’m achieving while I’m getting my exercise in!
I’m really excited to share today a list of what I consider some gym essentials for anybody who’s either starting their gym journey or if you’re looking to treat yourself to some new equipment as motivation for getting back into exercising for 2018!
