April has been a pretty big month of transition for me. The weather has slowly warmed up this month (and we’re now reaching 20 degrees which I couldn’t be happier for!), and in my personal life everything seems to be going at 100 miles a minute! This is the first month that I’ve been actively uploading to YouTube weekly, and although I’ve been slacking a little in creating content since returning from Florida, I’m finally back on the horse again!
MIMG underwent a bit of a refurbishment this month, and I’m really excited to start these monthly favourites posts in a slightly different format! I’ve been focussing on my skincare quite a lot, especially as we’re going from the cold harsh weather into cooler Spring temperatures (you can check out my ‘Spring Skincare Wishlist’ here for extra products!). As always, I’d love to know what favourites you’ve had this past month, if you want to leave them in the comments below!
My Favourite Products of the Month
BURTS BEES
Sensitive Facial Cleanser
After getting back from Florida, my skin was worse than I’ve seen it in a LONG while. My dry patches just seemed to be really aggravated, and nothing I could do would sort it. I don’t know if it was the temperature difference, or I hadn’t looked after it properly before/after flying, but my skin was not happy with me in the slightest.
After slowly getting it back to normal, I figured that it was time to reach out and hear what products other people use to save their skin, which is when I came across this miracle product from Burts Bees. Y’all will know I love Burts Bees, so I’d been excited to try their skincare for a while now – and this sensitive cleanser, which is 99% all natural too, was just the trick. It’s calming and within a week my skin is not just back to how it was – but in a better state than I think I’ve ever seen it. Seriously!

ORIGINS
GinZing Eye Cream
I had used this on and off for about six months now, and it wasn’t until the end of last month when I was tired of seeing dark circles under my eyes constantly that I decided to commit to applying this daily. Every morning this eye cream wakes my eyes up and reduces my circles, and I absolutely love that.
My only bugbear is that by the time I’m returning home from work my circles are out in full force again. It’s fantastic for the first half of the day, but it does make me want to ask – do any of you have a miracle eye cream that sorts out dark circles? Or should I resort to concealer on top?

JO MALONE
Lime, Basil and Mandarin Cologne
Guys. I finally broke into the Jo Malone fragrances. I’d been wanting to invest for months and months (completely persuaded by Lydia & Ali using them!) but didn’t know where I wanted to start. I tested this fragrance, which is listed as a best seller, and I immediately fell in love. Like, I want to wear this every day. But I also don’t, because it’s pretty expensive. Ha! (Like £45 for 30ml expensive!)

CALVIN KLEIN
Lounge Wear Set
Ever since Justin wrote up about these, I fell in love. I’ve always loved Calvin’s signature tape, so seeing it across lounge wear made me want them 100x more. While Scott and I were in the States, I saw these on the clearance rack for $20 each (I picked up the grey jumper, grey shorts and black full-length pants. They didn’t have any of the black jumpers in stock or I would have grabbed one of those, too!). Long story short, I immediately went in on these and I’ve loved them ever since.
They’re so comfy and perfect for throwing on whether it’s the weekend or mid-week evenings. I don’t think I’d ever take them to the gym, but they’re so soft and make me feel all cosy while chilling out and doing nothing at all. Ha!

JORD WATCHES
Stacked Walnut and Olive Wood Apple Band
I collaborated with JORD on my post last Thursday, where I was lucky enough to be gifted this incredible Apple Watch strap. If you caught up with this post at the beginning of the year, you’ll know that I’m obsessed with my Apple Watch, and I find it invaluable not just during my daily-life, but while I’m in the gym, too.
Although I wouldn’t wear this strap to the gym, I find it perfect for my day-to-day activities, and especially for work. The amount of compliments I’ve gotten based on it have been loads!

BATH & BODY WORKS
Ocean Driftwood Wallflower
If y’all caught this post at the tail-end of last year, you’d know that I’m a sucker for Bath & Body Works’ wallflowers, and I make sure to stock up every time I’m in the States. I love the strength of their fragrance and the way they fill a room. So far, I have three favourites: Flannel, Hot Apple Toddy and Ocean Driftwood.
Ocean Driftwood is light, but such a gorgeous scent. It smells like a mix between Hollister and Abercrombie, perfect for warm Spring afternoons and airy days. I’m so happy I pre-empted my love for the scent and picked up multiple!

I’ve followed Lauren for a while now, and her attitude is just one of the loveliest things I’ve come across online.
