June is always a month that I like to take a little slower. In regards to my plans, my work and my day to day life. With the weather being so nice this Summer, the month has been spent with a lot of trips to the beach, meals out with family and friends and lazy weekends relaxing under the sun.
Recently, I’ve felt like things have been going at 100 miles per hour, not just with work – but with things like pulling together my California plans, sorting out details for my apartment with Scott, and generally keeping up to date with the going ons of every day life. I’ve published a lot of blogging posts this month, as I want to refocus the lens on talking about blogging and travelling more since both of them are such passions of mine. In terms of my favourites this month, I’ve fallen back on some trusted favourite items that I’ve loved through the year and found that I’ve spent a lot of time with those in particular.
In terms of MIMG, I feel like I’ve pulled together a lot of strategising this month, overhauling the layout and design of my site, figuring out the direction that I want my blog posts to go in and playing with my personal style to figure out what I want to be posting in the future – which I’m now so excited for!
I’d love to hear how you spent your June, if you want to leave it in the comments below – I hope wherever you live has been wonderful weather!
P.S. I do want to preface these favourites by warning you that they’re a little random – only because my month has been spent lounging and stuffing my face in the sun, but not only am I in love with these products (because I am), but all three of these brands are pretty great too, and I’d definitely recommend checking them out.
Vegan Low Calorie Chocolate Frozen Smoothie
You may have seen me rave about Frill in this post last week, or even about a year ago when I first discovered it on Instagram. Scott’s ice cream alternative of choice, we pick it up from Waitrose and could eat gallon upon gallon of the stuff. Currently, their flavours are chocolate, strawberry and “green” (which is like a lime/spinach mix I think!). Though they have just announced a nutty caramel flavour which is only available in London currently!
Logo Short Sleeve Crewneck T-Shirt
Guys, I love Gap. Their clothes are so comfy and I love the relaxed style. I actually picked up this tee only last week from their outlet at Cheshire Oaks, and I’ve practically lived in it ever since. When I grabbed it, it was on clearance for £7.99 and (if you know me) you’ll know that I’m a sucker for stripes!
GARNIER AMBRE SOLAIRE
Dry Mist SPF 30 Ultra-Light Dry Protection Mist
Any post that contains talk of the sun usually also contains me raving about this little guy. Garnier’s Dry Mist is my favourite sunscreen to apply. It’s so easy to chuck in your bag and whip out whenever you need it – you don’t feel greasy, your hands aren’t left slimy and it’s a no fuss product on essentially every platform. Just hold it away from your skin and spray on the desired area, it doesn’t get easier than that!
