This Summer I have been all about rattan, jute and all things natural. In fact, Scott keeps complaining because half of the items I send him are jute and unfortunately he’s not the biggest fan of the material! Since moving in, we’ve been slowly incorporating more thoughtful pieces into our home and collections, and there has been an influx of Summer homeware web searches that have left me craving hitting the purchase button on almost all of them.
Somewhere that I’ve been particularly drawn to lately is H&M Home. In fact, quite a lot of our homeware is from there because whilst it’s quite affordable, their quality is actually pretty great. Especially in their wooden items, like these bowls and salad servers that we picked up.
I’m loving their newest collection, and the idea of bringing more natural materials like wood, jute, rattan and linen into the home as either focal pieces or accessories. I’m also in love with their jute area rug, and can imagine how great that would look styled alongside wooden floors, light walls and plants.
This Summer for me is all about cultivating airy, bright spaces with greenery and pops of colours. Though, when I say pops of colour, can you tell a theme of my favourite colours in the chosen items below?
I’d love to know what your favourite picks of Summer homeware are. Do you have a certain vibe you’re cultivating in your home? What sort of materials do you love or not like at all?
