Redecorating for fall is one of my favourite yearly traditions. And with the range of decor that I’m seeing at the stores right now, I couldn’t help myself from posting this today! Since it turned September over the weekend, it’s a totally justified time to post about fall decor, right.. ? (Ignores the fact that I’ve done about 3 fall-centric posts already this year). As a season, fall is all about warmth: with the reds, oranges and yellows. While contrasting with real earthy tones of green and browns. I love all of these colours; not just for decor, but for style too. And decorating my living space with them is one of the things I love most about the season. I wanted to break today’s post down into the categories of inexpensive decor that won’t be hard to switch out or replace as the season changes into Winter.
A lot of decor pieces I’m sharing today are from T.J. Maxx (or T.K. for my UK friends bc same), Anthropologie, H&M and Urban Outfitters. As you’ll see, there’s a lot of emphasis on cosier pieces that can accent a room and make it feel more like a place to relax and bundle up. Which is the vibe I’m trying to put out this season, ha! I’d love to know where your favourite place to shop is for inexpensive decor, and what your favourite piece is that I’m sharing today – if you want to comment below!

Pillows
Pillows are a great tool to use for inexpensive decor because they’re so versatile. You can dress up any space with pillows to make it look a lot more inviting and tailored to a theme you’re trying to portray.
I’ve made sure to choose the cosiest-looking pillows I can, with all the mentions to pumpkin patches, pumpkin spice, ghouls and fall harvests. Quite literally a staple piece of fall here!
Decor Piece #2
Hand Towels
Another fun way to jazz up a space with ease, replacing hand towels with their fall equivalents. I love all of these patterns – and there are so many more around the web! Replacing a hand towel is a quick way to bring the fall atmosphere into your kitchen, and it only takes seconds to do.
Decor Piece #3
Trinkets
Trinkets are like little reminders of your seasonal festivities. To say that I love trinkets would be an understatement, if I showed you round my home I think one of the first things you’d notice is how many trinkets I actually have. Ha!
Trinkets are so fun because you can use them to show your personality so easily, and they come in all shapes, sizes and types! I’ve picked a bunch of different types of trinkets to share with you guys today (just a pre-warning, most if not all are pumpkins! Ha!)
Decor Piece #4
Throws & Blankets
Possibly my favourite type of inexpensive decor: blankets. These are perfect because not only do they bring the fall vibe to your living space, but you can wrap yourself up in them during those colder mornings, or while you’re binge watching your favourite scary show or movie marathon (P.S. Looking for affordable activities to celebrate Autumn with? I listed 25 right here!)
All of these blankets look so snuggly that I’m definitely going to be human-burrito’ing myself inside with a hot chocolate and the next season of American Horror Story.
Decor Piece #5
Miscellaneous
These are a collection of things that didn’t really fit the other categories, but are still so perfect as inexpensive decor for your living spaces. From this super cute doormat, to the waste basket and white pumpkin salt and pepper shakers, these pieces are perfect for putting the final touch on your home for the fall season.
I’d love to know which your favourite piece of decor was, or what style you go for during the fall? Do you decorate at all, and if so, which is your favourite store to buy decor from? Personally, I am all about seasonal decorating. Although I don’t do it as much for spring or summer, I love decking the halls from fall to winter! There’s something warming and cosy about bringing a whole bunch of soft furnishings, twinkly lights and spiced scents into the home. Especially during the months when it’s darker so much earlier.
