When it comes to Autumn and Winter, is there much more versatile than a classic camel coat in your closet? I have spent YEARS finding the perfect coat. Not just in size or cut, but shade, too. I love the colour camel, but when it comes to the shade of a coat – I much prefer them on the lighter side.
Scott bought me this coat from River Island last year for Christmas, and I love it. It’s the perfect colour, still camel – but not quite as dark as the traditional camel runs. You can get a whole host of these coats to fit almost every budget, and when it comes to designing your Autumn and Winter wardrobe, almost no piece fits better than this coat for versatility. Whether pairing it with a dressier or more casual outfit, the classic camel coat has you covered.
I’ve included a range of different camel coats in this post, including colours, fits and price points. In my closet, I have this one and a grey one, too. Though I’m always on the lookout to expanding my collection, and have my eyes on an olive green version as my next purchase. That said, olive green is my favourite colour for clothes right now, so I’d own pretty much anything in that shade if I could!
If you’re interested, I recommend picking one up and seeing how it will work with your style – as I’m sure there’s not many people that it won’t gel with! (Especially since I love wearing mine, and I’m only 5’6 in height!).
