Happy Sunday! I’m so happy to be back writing again at my favourite place – Mile in My Glasses. Taking a month off wasn’t planned, I sort of fell into it after a few problems with Pinterest *which has not sorted itself yet, so rather than wait I wanted to return to the blog*!
It has been a busy month since my last post. Halloween came and went, with Scott and myself excitedly decorating the house *and now in the process of transitioning the Autumn decorations to Winter ones*. We headed off to Paris for a long weekend, and Scott even secured a pretty exciting job change that has had us dreaming up our future together in a new way.
October is a month that I always wait for all year long. In England, it’s usually a dry month, with blustery blue days that are chillier as the month draws on, yet warm enough to enjoy evening strolls into the night. Once November hits, there’s almost always a definite change to grey skies and rainclouds tinting every morning, which is where we are now.
I’m going to be finding my feet again posting regularly on the blog over the next few weeks, but I’m really excited to fall back into my old routines and share some content that I’ve been loving. New clothes that I’ve picked up, some recipes that I’ve fallen for (including a super delicious hot chocolate that I’ve been craving as the days have gotten cooler!) and a post or two about our time in The City of Lights. Before Autumn leaves us, I’d also like to get a post up about the season – which is my favourite by a pretty far stretch.
But before then, thank-you for catching up with me here on Mile in My Glasses, whilst I figure out Pinterest again *which I’m taking as another reason why it’s so important to own your space online* and slip back into Instagram once more.
